Which Gasoline?
Began riding in 1959 and always used Shell high test gasoline. During the two times that I had racing cams installed, the mechanics were amazed at how clean the tops of the cylinders were. I have attributed this cleanliness to the additives in Shell high test gasoline.
My question is: With my current ride being a 2013 FL Limited, am I wasting money by continuing to use high test Shell in my bikes? Or should I pay the extra to use high test as I have been doing?
Any opinions on fuel will be appreciated.
Best, Steven

Run your brown and dirty bro, but you'd change preferences if you lived here, or places like here, where 0E gas and frequent oil changes help offset condensation issues. Just sayin.

Suckers ? Perhaps but I can tell you that, opposed to Dallas, locations north of Maine introduce very significant issues with respect to condensation. This not only takes place, somewhat obviously, during winter storage but is a factor during the early spring and late fall riding season where day/night temps can range from just below freezing at night to quite pleasantly warm during the day. The effect is worse if/when engines aren't run every day.

I run a 50/50 blend of 93 octane ethanol and 100 octane race fuel in the built 120R SGS
