Hmmm...
My rev limit on my 08 TBW sounds exactly like my 07 fxstc cabled...
Only there for a fraction of a second by definition tho...
Not sure I care about how it sounds personally
Just a signal to shift
I figured out why the Low Rider S sounds really weird. It has flyby wire (electronic cable) so it gets send to the ECU for processing, unlike other Harleys which have a regular cable. No middle man when revving the throttle. Therefore, the new Low Rider S won't bounce, it stays flat line because of the ECU Middle Man. Thanks for all your help (sarcasm). Hope this post helps others.
Did you ever find out if it has a fix? . I came here wondering the same thing. It kills a lot of power when it’s time to hit the limiter on a rolling burnout

He is not going to respond.
Have your bike tuned with an aftermarket tuner, and raise the RPM limit. Done.
