Default 883 sporster

I have a 883 sportster that every time I hit starter nothing hapened. can some one help please.

1) Turn ignition on.
2) Turn run switch to on.
3) Hit ignition switch.
4) Get back to us if this does not work.

You'll need a volt meter and a Factory Service Manual. They lay out all the issues pretty well.. Step by step and you shouldn't have any problems....

My point was for him to be sure his run switch was in the on position. Not that I have ever wasted an hour trying to diagnose my "Huh, Nothin' happen'" problem!

Been there too, only that Honda would still crank over, the kill switch just grounded the coil, nothing more.

Battery is dead or missing...

reminds me of the guy who called the auto shop" hello , my engine is missing" the shop says, "bring it in, well have a look at it" fella says " I cant the engine is missing, er I mean the engine is gone"...
