I noticed a couple of times that after running at highway speeds for 10 - 20 minutes and I come to a stop my RPMs hang around 1250 for maybe 20-30 seconds before settling down to 950 -1000 RPMs. This has only happened a few times that I have noticed. Most of the time the revs settle right down to a normal idle.

Bike is fuel injected. I have tested the intake manifold by turning on the gas of a butane torch to see if the revs rise, but I do not see a jump in revs. Also my fuelpak fp3 shows normal temps.

Maybe I’m over thinking this and it is fairly normal. Or maybe it’s just the beginning of the leak and will soon get worse.

Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.
