Typically, I've needed to keep the enrichener out (or partially out) for my first 1/2 mile or so before I push it all the way in. Lately, the bike has been difficult to start (even with the enrichener fully out) and when it runs, I can't keep the enrichener all the way in or it will nearly die when I open the throttle from idle. So, I've had to keep the enrichener partially out even if I've been riding for 20 miles.
Has anybody experienced this problem before? What is the source of the problem and what is the fix? Thanks.

Either an intake leak or your plugs are FUBAR from fouling. Try upping the rpms just before you idle it to park, the rpm's should return to where you had them. Have you pulled the plugs and had a look at them to see if they need to be replaced?
