HD Quick detach windshield clamp snapped right off. Fix?

Default HD Quick detach windshield clamp snapped right off. Fix?


Any genius ideas on how to fix it or jerry rig it?

Why not do it right and buy a new clamp?

well, that is pot metal for you. the only way to fix it would be to machine a new one from a piece of aircraft aluminum. of course then, probably the engine would fall out the frame next?
