Not sure how far gone your windshield is, but have you considered Flitz and a buffing wheel as a preliminary measure? Flitz is what many private pilots use on their windshield for simple restoration (mostly hazing).

I think Memphis shades does. You could call Jp cycles. I think you can also get them at the dealers.

Harley does have replacements as I checked a few weeks ago. They are in their parts catalog @$160 for a superglide.. Memphis shades has them for $100 in different heights and colors for my superglide, Guess which one I’ll be getting.

I like my Clear View windshield as a replacement. They have a lot of sizes available in either standard or recurve, different tints, and standard or extra wide. https://www.clearviewshields.com/mot...pact-brackets/

crzoomb,

Which windshield do you have?

I have an '07 FXDWG too, and have the Super Sport windshield (P/N: 57301-06). I like all of what Clear View has to offer, but they do NOT specifically list this windshield. I wanted to try a 'vented' option to reduce buffeting. I haven't contacted them yet to see if they can work with that particular model, so if you do, I'd be curious to know how that goes.

Good luck!

Regards,
SJK

. I run a windshield on my dyna early spring and late fall. I have it set up at nose height to see over the top. When I first put it on the buffering nearly nocked my glasses of with the buffering at the top of my head. I had it cut down and put the Harley tool bag under the windshield and it is so much better. You have to do trial and error (especially with a wide glide with the rake and all) but it is possible to reduce the buffering. I believe it also had to deal with your height. I have a bud who is short and can ride his fxr with no glasses with his windshield set up. I am 6ft so I had to get creative. But I get more buffering from my fxr than I do on the wide glide. Go figure!
