Default Help identifying 12 hole derby cover?

I have a 12 hole domed metal cover that I need help identifying. The man I inherited it from had 45/Servi-Cars/Police Specials.

Doesn't look like a Servi-car, more likely from something earlier, possibly a different brand. IMHO it's part of a pressed steel primary casing, not a cast alloy one, which may help narrow things down - a little!

Not 45/Servi for sure, unless some kind of odd aftermarket piece. 45's had a small cover that allowed for clutch adjustment, no derby cover. Any 45 you see with a full derby, after market primary chain cover.

As grb stated, maybe something much older.

They don't have a separate derby cover, just a one-piece alloy chain-case.

Interesting. Any chance of a pic or link, so we can see the bike?

I'd like to see it also. I found the gasket earlier but could not find an example of the bike it fit on. Every bike pic I can find agrees with grbrown.
