Default ‘99 Road King Luggage Rack ID

This luggage rack has been on my ‘99 RK for awhile, and I’m unable to find any info about who made it. I was thinking about removing it but it’s definitely not QD.

It looks identical to the rack on my buddy's 99 Road King. He told me it came that way from the dealer when he bought it. Not sure if it's OEM or not. The part number for support bar under it is 53422-97. Not sure what the part number for the rack though.

‘Elvis’ Place’ is the only site that has pictures of the same rack as mine, and the only info in his ad states, “Was told that it came off a Road King”.

Looks like old HD P&A rack to me. I had to replace one of those rails once and it was a dealer item.

P&A? Can you elaborate a little?

I'm inclined to agree with the above. Mine's a 94, and looks extremely similar. It's stock, as far as I know.

It’s a pretty solid rack. I rode 30 miles home with a case of 7.62x39 ammo strapped to it, and an old Chinese SKS in a soft case on top. Yay, estate sales, except that I knew the guy whose estate I bought the items from.
