Default Clymer manual.

Wondering if the clymer manual is the same as the Harley Davidson ?
I need one for my bike and I’m just looking feed back about which is better or more complete.
Thanks!

Clymer can cover different models and years in one book.

Most here will tell you Get The Factory Service Manual for your bike. Often referred to as FSM

That would include Me

The Clymer is good enough to use as a prop to keep the garage door open. That's about it.

Clymer has nice pictures but mostly copies HD FSM and leaves some stuff out. Best to double check online with various sources before believing Clymer. Forums, YouTube, etc. I will say I've found typos and incorrect specs in a HD FSM before too.

well, a "+" for the clymers is that they do not expect you to be a harley whizz. i will say that 99% of the mechanical will get you by but the electrical is a diff animal. if you are going to get the electrical just as soon get the other half.

Clymer use to be written on a complete teardown and rebuild, but that was years ago.
Stick with a HD manual, you'll be better off.

Clymer is better than nothing but certainly not as good as the FSM

Considering the way you`re throwing $$`s with your current mods, now is not the time to save a few bucks.

PS Get the Factory Service Manual and the Parts Catalog, having both makes ordering parts much easier. Or dealing with the "guy" at the parts counter, you know what I mean.
