I wrap my pc in 2 layers of tin foil and wear safety glasses, it's just as effective as a vpn. Most of the time I could care less about someone or something tracking me. If I am doing something really covert, I walk backwards and swerve a lot. Seriously though I do turn off all location bs on my phone, pc, and browsers. I use Linux mint running TOR or TOR on my phone.
Oh I also use the neighbor's wifi just in case...

when i turned 60, i would get at least 300 calls a month, now maybe 1 or 2. all my traffic goes through a computer in new york and if you are on the list, not coming here, and if you do slip through, this little red button will make you go away.
when i go to buy a car, i know what i want and do not need a salesman hawking me every step of the way. all of these cookies and cross trackers can take a dive, i fight back.
so you like all of that blitz flashing side bar, hummmm, i nail them, do not see it.
BTW: i have a bridge to sell, located in brooklyn.

So even the HD Forum site couldn't figure out how what catagory this thread fit. The next related thread was a LaPera seat for sale.
So while tracking happens, I'm not real worried.
I have a flip phone (Old Skool), no Internet to my TV, no WiFi devices, and certainly no Voice Command devices, however my dog will sit come to me when told, but she lives outside.
I don't mind being cautious, but not Paranoid. Wait Black Sabbath just started playing on my radio.

 

I have never in my life recd 300 spam calls or emails a day & even being a Computer Geek I just use standard blocking

The only true way to stay "off the grid" is to buy land in the remote woods/hills & buy/build a cabin with no electricity. You know, like "Little House on the Prairie." Otherwise, get with the times and adopt technology...you know we're an advanced society, right?
