Ok I just got my first bike a 96 sportster 883 hugger. My speedometer doesn’t work. It lights up but doesn’t display the mileage and speedometer doesn’t work . I replaced the speed sensor but still nothing. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

probably need to bring it to the stealership and have it tested, but, probably toast, common issue.
get a FSM and follow the trouble tree for the system, make sure the power is there and you get a signal from the sensor.
sometimes you can find youtube info but remember to taker things with a grain of salt.
