Default your thoughs on couple minor detials

I was just wondering if you really need need to move the main drive race out the couple thousands it walks in.
I am changing **** shaft seal and I am thinking
why bother it's just going to walk back in any way. I was all so wondering i it really matters what side the rear axle goes in form. if can flip it over nut on right side it would make it easier to get wheel off wont have to work a round pipe.

Someone else will chime in on the first question, but I would guess most bikes out there have the axle reversed.

If the race walked, it needs to be replaced. Use an S&S one that won't walk.

Axle is put in from right side because if there was some failure (bearings or something bad) the axle would want to tighten on the nut rather than loosen. Many people have flipped them, but now you know the reason.
