I want to put the Skull Collection LED Fuel Gauge on my 2002 FXDWG. It's listed 04 and later FXDWG. I talked to a parts guy at a local HD dealer who told me this won't work on my bike.

Will it *fit* my bike?

I always use the trip odometer rather than the gas gauge, as the stock gauge only seems to offer an estimate once it gets below a half tank anyway.

Is there something I can do to make this thing work, even if it isn't quite accurate? My bike is carb, not EFI.
