Looking to replace my starter (which is beginning to fail) with a new 1.4 starter. Would appreciate input and recommendations, especially from those who have actually tried the starter they are commenting on.

 

Should we assume your bike is the same model and year as ours?

 

Sorry. it's the same as the one in my sig pic, A 2006 Softail Deluxe with a 95" build with 9.7/1 compression.

 

I can recommend the All ***** Racing 1.6 starter for sure. It been cranking my T124 S&S for over 5 yrs. It shows no signs of giving up. The stock starter would barely roll the motor over. Fastrider124
