Beware when dealing with VeloceM3
I know it's not a big amount of money, but someone else might buy more expensive stuff from this guy.
Advertised as take offs with 4 miles I bought a black rear lightbar for my Roadglide, I go to put it on and notice paint bubbling all over the place, bad paintjob or powder coating. I contact seller requesting refund plus return label cause it's defective, and he refuses to pay return shipping and won't refund unless i do. I paid $60 plus $2.40 for paypal fee as he wanted as gift otherwise.
I filed a paypal dispute and we'll see what happens.
I've bought and sold on this forum and on ebay for many years, and yes **** happens and stuff gets overlooked, but I always man up if there's a issue and take care of it.
Here's the ad
Here's the pm's
And here's the part.
And the other side.

I'm a VERY experienced PayPal/eBay user. Over 1,000 transactions over the past ten years.
1. DO NOT, EVER, use "Friends and Family" to pay for merchandise. If you do, and a dispute arises and you file a claim with PP, they will tell you to go pound sand, as well they should. Why would you expect them to get involved in a pissing contest between "Friends and Family"?
2. If a seller wants you to do that, walk. If, otoh, he gives you an option to pay his fees, he's still a dick, AND he's in violation PP's TOS, but at least you're not giving up your PP protection.
3. Luckily, in this case, the buyer paid the seller's fees and didn't go F&F. According to PP's rules, if the item was significantly not as advertised, the buyer gets a full refund, including shipping. Good luck!

I would take that to a local powdercoater and get it re-coated for prob around 20-30 bucks.
I know it seems like letting the dude off the hook, but it's better to spend the money on actually getting a good part rather than pay shipping so some jackass will give you back a measly 60 bucks...
Even with the re-coating you would probably still be under the cost of a new or used one by a good amount.
