Yes it tends to always be. If the dates of the meet was con the show I bet he would add a sound competition. Being we will be the week before I am sure it would conflict with whatever band was playing, but appreciate the reference.

I have came up with a few routes to take. Few north and a few south. Would like to keep close to river and really enjoy the scenery and have a nice easy going ride. Open to any suggestions or just vote 1,2,3,or 4. Any suggestions or options are all wide open. What I intend with the proposed routes is to allow those whom are not staying a second night to be able to either split off and head back home bound on part of the route if they choose and or keep it where the ride is reasonable enough that we can maybe eat a good late lunch or something somewhere and then head home if not staying a second night and have good time left to get home.

Both about an hour or so. Anamosa is another potential stop to add but really not much there outside museum and the jp retail store

Thanks for posting the 4 routes for a Saturday ride Slye...while I have ridden both sides of the river from Savanna, North to Galena and South to Rte 80, I do not know which of the 4 rte's would be more scenic! I am considering riding up to La Crosse on Saturday, because my SO has never been on that part of the Great R R...plus La Crosse being a college town has a big selections of good eats. So in conclusion any ride heading North would benefit me!
