I have mapped out a route for a two week trip this coming April 12th.

Starting near Chicago, then to Indianapolis, Nashville, Chatanooga, Birmingham, New Orleans, Houston, Little Rock, Memphis, St Louis, and back to Chicago. Only Chicago and Houston are required for me, the rest can be changed.

I don't want to go it alone, and my wife does not ride with me. I'm a conservative rider, so whoever signs on needs to keep that in mind.

 

Does that mean you're stopping to vote on the way?
But, no seriously. Looks like a pretty nice trip, wish I could make it. How many miles approximately?

 

Around 2600 miles. I maped it to the interstates because I'm not big into challenging my skills. When I actually start out, I might abandon the plan and broaden my experience. Depends on who I'm with.

What's the reference to voting?

I guess I'm slow in more than just my riding.

Post script: I've decided to go it alone. If any of my friends have changes to their schedules, they are welcome to tag along, but I decided I want to control things. Call me the Lone Ranger!

Indy to San Antonio? Man, that would be fun. Ain't been to SA in 20 over years.

 

How many miles/day are you thinking of doing? This is certainly an interesting proposition...I'm in Indy myself.
