I just had Salty inform me of you guys. Good to see that there are some members wanting to get together for a ride/drink. Well you can count me in for a meet and greet ride. I'm cool with going any where. But an extra 1hr ride to Camrose just gives me more seat time :-)

Just thought i would let you all know that: Steele Horse Bar and Grill in New Norway, SE of Camrose on HWY 21( if memory is correct) is holding 2nd Annual 'Support the Troops" ride, silent auction BBQ and a 300km ride on 20 jun weekend.

I have arranged a discount on some rooms at the Travellers inn in Camrose for 19th/20th. Not a 4* by any means but, clean n tidy, bikes parked outside your door etc. Queen bed is 59$ and 2 queen beds is 69$ Just book your room and let me know your coming! GOOGLE the above bar name for their website. This was a great event last year and should be bigger n better this year! Gord and Linda the owners do a great job! Another chance for a few too get together!

I can't get away from work on a Saturday in the summer but I sure can head out early for Camrose Sunday morning if some of you are going to go for a bit of a tour on the Sunday, or I can ride with you part of your way home then split off after lunch.

Sounds good, closer t the date we can hook up a plan! For us our ride after a breakfast will likely be home to Cold Lake! LOL

The 2nd Annual Ride to Support and Silent Auction will be held on Saturday June 20, 2009 at the Steel Horse Bar & Grill in New Norway, Ab which is about an hour south of Edmonton on HWY 21. Doors open at 10AM and registration for the ride will begin around 11AM. This will be a partially marshalled ride and there will be a waiver to sign as well as rules and regulations to follow for your safety and for the safety of all other participants. As for the silent auction, we are now accepting donations. Lets see if we can't double what we raised last year.
