I made it down through Chemainus, crofton, maple bay and up to the "broken Marriage" for a beer before heading back to nanaimo....awesome ride today...glad we decided not to go to Lake Cowichan with the dark clouds hanging over there.

Has anyone here suffered from a caliper rattle on the front wheel? I cant figure out why mine are sooooo noisy but Im ready to smash em off!

I haven't experienced anything like that.....besides a lose nut somewhere...might it be a lose brake pad perhaps?

Rippin' into it this weekend. i will check the pads. I snugged up my primary chain just a lil but that wasnt it & now it's tricky to find neutral so Im re adjusting that tomorrow.
I dont want to sell it with a rattle so Im getting frustrated!

I cant find the sob. I loosened everything up & now Im re tightening everything. Wednesday I will take it for a rip & see if I fixed it or if I have to get louder pipes!!!

Welcome. Lots of lower mainlanders in this group. Where do you ride mostly?

I took a ride up the sunshine coast this weekend. From Abbotsford to Earl's Cove. I stayed up there overnight and returned next day. Man thats some nice riding country. No traffic and beautiful scenery with some real nice twisty stuff.
Would be a great group ride where Islanders could hook up with mainlanders and do the circle tour, crossing at Powell River.
