Anyone cross the new Golden Ears Bridge? I take the Albion Ferry everyday to Langley and will continue to do so til it's final voyage. Kinda makes me sad that the fun of crossing the river on our bikes will be a thing of the past. Damn.

We got back from our trip to Arizona last Sunday - 17 awesome days on the road. We almost got hit by lightening on the way down - musta been going too fast - it missed LOL. Stayed in Vegas 2 days on the way down, saw the Hoover Dam, Oatman (old mining town on route 66), Grand Canyon - WOW, gotta see that in person, pictures don't do it justice, Sedona, Montezuma's Castle, Tombstone, huge Saguaro Cacti, Vegas for 2 days again. Then on to home, dodging flash flooding and lightening all the way home.
We met a lot of very nice people and we're heading back down to Nevada in a few weeks.
If anyone's riding between Las Vegas and Reno - you've gotta stop at Dusty Fenders in Goldfield - little diner\gas station - homemade soup and cornbread to die for.

Hope everyone had a great time here, I hear it was actually hot here while we were gone. I'll upload some pics from our trip to a new album.

DV, what ya see me heading thru Nan yesterday? Actually wasnt that bad, went to the FBI then onto Campbell River for the night, doing the poker run up here today.

yeah when I saw you I just got back from campbell river.....it's gonna be a month of sundays for my boots to dry out

Well ya ought to treat them boots so they are better suited to rain, mine dried out overnight, actually it preety much stopped when we got to the FBI for dinner and was relatively dry to Campbell River. For some reason Len was way wetter then I was!!! Good weekend anyways but not overly impressed with the way the Poker Run was organized. We left our cards with a friend and headed back from the fourth stop. It was already 4pm and still were supposed to go back to CR for last card and prizes.
