Yes, I love this bike. It's so comfortable, so much different than riding the Sportster (though I loved her too, she's gone to a new home). I wouldn't ride without a shield, too much wind on the highway, feels like it's gonna blow me off the bike. I really like that I finally have saddlebags to carry all my stuff too. I'm getting some pullback risers for the handlebars put on this week to make the stretch a little less for me because I'm short and I should be set for riding season.

We rode all over the island today, it was a beautiful day. I've got almost 1300 km on so far...it's a start.

Heading out in 1 week to VEGAS...YEAH...our favorite place...plus the ride there and back is AWESOME! Bring on the SUN hopefully

Hi all, new to the group, from Terrace. Doesn't look like there is many northern riders here. Plan on being on the Island this coming week.

Welcome to the group Ray. Are you riding to the island? There are a lot of great places to go for a ride on the island. The ride up to Port Alberni is nice and it's always warmer there. Down Chemainus Rd from Ladysmith to Crofton then to Cowichan Bay is nice, but I'm not sure how the construction in Chemainus is coming along. Don't spend much time in Nanaimo as the RCMP have a big campaign against motorcycles there...loud pipes, non DOT helmet, you'll get pulled over. Hope you enjoy your visit.
