well just got done installing a V&H fuel pak on my deuce and what a differance! read alot of reviews...some good some bad, i very pleased! just had to do a little mod to the bottom of the seat to make it fit but all in all a very good product.

Hello fellow deuce riders, I just purchased the tall back rest and pad combo for my 07 deuce. Having trouble installing do to limited space, any tips that would make this install easier? Safe riding everyone

Can anyone tell me how much of an improvement the Sundowner seat is for long distance comfort? I don't find the stock seat too bad, but my wife could use the bigger pillion, for sure?

The jury is in on the Sundowner seat. It works good for my wife but uncomfortable for a rider. I will alternate between the Badlander when riding solo and the Sundowner when riding with my wife.
I replaced my damaged (when I bought it) '07 gas tank with a new '04 tank. Everyone I asked said "they are all the same". No they are not. The '07 ('05 onwards I have since been told) have a bracket in the tank to mount the fuel sensor. We had to take this out of the '07 tank and weld it into the '04 tank. Apart from that all is the same.
Relcocated the front turn signals. The alledged available workspace under the tank is non-existant and in order to get at the wiring you need to take the tank off. Once that is done it makes it so much easier to work with.
Either pay the $60.00 for service manual from the dealer or buy the file version on Ebay for about $12.00 or so and then print the required pages as you need them.

Added accent lights to the Deuce on the weekend. Running the wiring under the tank is the hard part. Trying to hide it on the forks is near impossible.
