Morning. I'm a retired Master Sergant who's been riding since about 1964 ... boy that dates me !, Anyway, I got my 08 FXDF last August and rode for a couple months before winter hit last year but now I'm back on the road again and it feels great !!!! I understand what some of you are saying about being away from riding, I spent a year in Taiwan, 1 1/2 years in the Phillipines, and 3 1/2 years in Okinawa and it hurts being away but it's the price we pay for serving our country ! Well. the best to all of you and I appreciate you listing! Stay safe and ride hard !!!!!!!!!!!

JimBob: NICE! What did you do to your battery cover? Is that a decal or did you find one with a color pattern in it somewhere?
Also, wheels, holy crap, is that chrome or polish? If those are polished nice job.

Any input on fork oil...Will changing to heavier oil make a positive difference?

I changed my fork oil to the heavy SE oil and yes it did make a difference, dampened out the nose dive affect when hitting the front brakes. But ...... biggest difference, myself and several others on the site, SuperBrace. There are different brands that I've seen, I bought SuperBrace, but you could shop around. I'm just recommending a fork brace. Expensive, but cured the wobbles I get on CA highways from the rain grooves.

I thought about getting one...I never had any trouble with wobble until I removed the front fender...I am goning to replace the fork oil at my nxt service, Thanks

I got my power commander, air cleaner and 2" Rush at fuel moto...I don't know if it's best but it's done!
