blueangel-Did you buy that bike new? I've never seen a white speedo on a street bob. Not that I've been looking at them all that much. I thought I was going to have to have an aftermarket face made or replace with a different model unit.

Maybe I can find one from a 2010 on ebay-folks change them out to the tach combo units? I did a quick google search and I'm seeing '10's with the white ones.

Fskitch, it's more of a silver like color then white. I think it's the reflection of the sun that makes it look more white. I'll try and get a direct pic to show you. And yea, new bike off the floor when I got it, all 9 miles.

Mars - with the right combination of parts there should be no problem with brake calipers lining up. List your combination again.

Talked to Sonny via PM, he said softtails went to the brembo caliper in 2007.

Options:
Grind into the legs,
Grind into the spacers,
Grind into the caliper

I'm leaning towards caliper....but we'll see. Maybe I can get someone to grind into the spacer and then I'll add washers on the other side...I'm only off by about 1/8th of an inch...

Mars--I had a similar issue with mounting my softail deluxe to my fat bob forks. In my case I bought a rotor spacer (1/4") and replaced the stock axle spacers with 3/4" spacer on right side and 1" spacer on left (rotor) side, centered wheel and rotor up perfectly. After the fact I was told I could have simply lined the wheel up by adjusting-relacing the spokes.
Your situation may be different as you have no spokes to adjust on your cast wheel but you may be able to line things up with new spacers? Just a thought.
I have a few 25mm spacers of different lengths if it will help you.

Possibly....I'd need 7/8 and 1-1/8 spacers I believe...I'll have to see what the weekend looks like...I might just grind into the caliper just to get it done...

What makes me nervous is when I'm trying to do precision grinding in my garage with a dremel and a borrowed angle grinder...I might **** something up. Unfortunately, I dont get home until 9pm tonight so I will have to let you know how much space I'm missing. I'll let you know, but I might see if I can hit up the local chopper shop for some spacers because I don't like not having a bike.

The spacers are currently 1" on both sides...and the eyeball says its centered.

I'm honestly hoping I just put the spacers on the wrong side...but they both have 4 notches and seemed to measure up to 1", so I'm pretty sure they're the same. Maybe I'll reverse the wheel and see if that helps. Sonny said to make sure the stem is on the throttle side...which it is...but I'll check it out later.

I have 25mm 1-/1/8" and 7/8" spacers--and a bunch of others. They sell a whole assortment on ebay fairly cheap. I bought mine when I was getting my front wheel sorted out. Mine were 1" per side stock too. Let me know if you want them. Be sure on the size because I have others as well.

I know what you mean about not liking when your bikes o/s. I have my wifes 883 but it gets cramped and buzzy after a few miles.
