This may seem counter intuitive, but too much preload on the steering stem bearings can cause a bike to "weave". Try backing off the bearings just a hair.

Yup, did my kid's Nightster a few years ago. He traded it after 2 years for a Softail Deluxe and I heard the Nightster sold pretty fast at the dealership.

Fat Bob front end. Sportsters are a little harder because they are more complicated (putting same stuff in a smaller space) but it was worth it. It handled great but got all kinds of crap from the sportster group here. Sportsters are supposed to be made skinner I was informed.

Funny that both Harley Davidson and Victory came out with almost identical looking bikes a year later.

Dyna_Bagger and I swap headlamp, I got the larger 7" and he got the stock 5-3/4", hope the light works out for ya brother. Anyways, here are some pics of it installed. I want to move it up and back some so it tucks right into the fairing. I love how it looks so much fuller now, thanks Randy for the swap.

blueangel-The 7" light looks like it belongs on your bike but I think a regular headlight trim ring would complement the bike, less being more in your case. Just my opinion. Then you could slide the 49mm clamps down a tad to tighten the whole front end up.

Kitch, I am on the same page. I have been searching for a nice, yet cheap in cost ring for it. I don't know if I'll need to replace the light, I think the one I have is flat faced. Either way, I still feel I need to raise the light up though.
