Forget my warning about Bry's fender, I was mixing the bikes up. His is the newer series and he is the one that bought the aftermarket fender. Had him mixed up with another member.

02fx4dude, I think you made the right choice with the front wheel. The bike looks GOOD.
I haven't been on the forum much since school's out. You'd think since I'm not teaching I'd have lots of time. Been busy getting caught up with house jobs, ranch jobs, selling bike stuff on eBay (been doing good with that), hay field stuff, bought a DRZ400S, Getting the V-Strom ready for the Appalachian Mountain ride. Haven't done a thing to the Dyna.

Hey, good to hear from you Harvey. Glad to hear you didn't have any tornado issues down there. Thanks for the comments. I was really pulling my hair out about the front wheel thing, and as much as I like the look, the new wheels where an unplanned expense and about doubled the cost of the whole project. And of course, the stock Lowrider wheels were alot easier to keep clean...

Hey all - it's going on a year-and-a-half since I started up this social group ... pleasantly surprised at how it has taken off and that it appears to have been of some assistance to several members ... also, interested to see that it has attracted a pretty good following with 125 members as of today 17 Jun 2011 ....

Reviewing the membership, it appears a dozen (myself, ackman1968, U-234, Roofer, CptCeeJay, fryejs, Oldman - New Iron, DynaFatRider, t-sport, Astro Zombie, Soupknotzee, 02fx4dude) have coverted their front end to FL ... quite a few have converted to full FL-style rear fender (Patrick57, Jackyl, bikerlaw, Wyde Glyde Bry, AFMM3, among others) ... and, numerous have done FL-style hard bags ....

If anyone feels slighted by my accounting, feel free to post up your pics and a 'correction' ....

Just wanted to throw this video up. I suspect we all have seen it in the past but this bike was a HUGE influence in the how I saw the FL-Dyna potential. So I wanted to keep it rolling around this particular forum for a while longer.

Hey t-sport...do you know what length fork tubes you used on your coversion? I used 2-inch over (stock FL) tubes (aftermarket), but now want to run one thats lower like yours.
