GUTEN TAG fellow riders, am new to the site, but not to riding or to Germany. Been here on and off since 97. The wife, Gabriele, and I enjoy riding all around Germany and plan to hit the "Ride the Alps" again this year for the 3rd year running. Hoping for better weather this time. Hello! Been a member of HDforums for a while now and just discovered there was a German group. I have been here in Germany for the past 2 years and hope to stay for a bit longer. I am in Grafewoher, but travel up to K town at least once a month. I am looking for people to ride with around my area as everyone I know is leaving.

All, just wanted to give an fyi to those of you overseas here in Europe. I'm here in Stuttgart, GE and over the past few months I've been ordering a few harley items. Just wanted to give a heads up to those ordering online, ordered from Licks Cycles and received my stuff in a few weeks, ordered from Cardo Systems and had my item in only a week!!! I ordered some chaps from the Biker's Den middle of April and it's now 9 May and I had to call them. Received a number of excuses why they had not even as yet been shipped, for example, int'l warehouses having problems shipping to APO and also not enough man power to take care of all the orders in a timely manner. Not sure about everyone out there, but if you're like me-you want your stuff yesterday and time spent w/out your stuff sucks!! Just thought I'd pass this along. iRob (A pissed off HD rider).

Awesome weather here in Germany! It's a short week for me and all the others who are going to the M & G next weekend in Treis-Karden. I'm so looking forward to it!

Biketoberfest is supposed to be goin on at the Harley dealership in Frankfurt Sept 27 - 29 for all interested ... ill be there
