Got my new tins yesterday, put a couple pics up. Will start the tear down this week-end, hopefully I will have her up and running again by Wednesday. If so I will post a complete before and after thread.

With the new tins, comes a new air cleaner, ( right side of bike is looking to "busy") I will be losing my Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather. The breather has less than 1,000 miles on her and has never seen the rain. I also have the sock. I paid 256.00 for it new. Looking for 150.00 or Best offer. Should be able to ship by next wk-end. I figured I would throw this out to the nightster crew before putting it in the classifieds.

Just like soup mentioned. Everyones right side is busy, and i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas with the left side. Maybe a suicide shifter, fancy blacked out horn, spark plug bolt covers, oil cooler...sigh, I guess maybe maybe just less is more.

Anyways i'll be taking fender pics tomorrow as well as a side view of the ecm, mounting points, and something I did with my sprocket due to boredom.

Slackster, I been thinking of going to a suicide shifter on her, the problem with the plug covers ( this is hearsay, so don't kill the messenger) from what I'm told is they are plastic, and don't match the engine fins, just what I been told.I don't have them on my bike. As for the artist, yeah, he is pretty amazing. I'm not done with the art yet. He is still working on my side plates

You know I would just have a fear of falling of the bike in a quick acceleration with the suicide shifter. But damn that thing just looks so cool. I guess when you have one you just got to ride in style.

You know the more I think about it the better it sounds. I think we need to try this out. Than I can finally get rid of that cable that gets on my nerves that rubs up agains my fork gators and by my headlight.

So check this i've been playing with a polishing wheel on a grinder and i've been poishing out the sprocket with jewler ruge, or something like that it's called. It looks interesting.

OK where is the pic? As for the shifter, I guess it's like everything else, you get used to it. I'm starting the change over on my tins today, so between that and my 12 hr work day, I should have enough to keep me busy. If all goes well I should be able to post some new pics by Wednesday or Thursday. We'll see.
