Will 4.5 gallon sportster seats fit on our bikes?

I have been told by the folks at Mustang seats that their 4.5 gallon seats fit the Nigtster but leaves a gap, much like the original N seat does.

catlkn, how did they paint the case on the motor? I know they didnt disassemble it, I also know they did take the jugs and heads off. and do you know what paint they used on the case? it looks damn good!

Everything that could be taken off without dropping the engine was sent to the powder coater (gear case cover, head covers, etc.) The rest they painted in place on the bike after a very thorough taping job. They used the same paint on everything that was not powder coated. I think it was just a wrinkle black engine paint, but I'll double check and let you know.

Midnight, I double checked today. everything that was not powder coat was just wrinkle black engine paint.
