Well had my first major break down at 106,000+ miles. The stator gave out. Stranded my for 5 days waiting on parts! Blew all the magnets out of the bell! It must of went good!.

Arrampico. If I'm doing a lot of long haul trips I'll change the Engine oil every 2500, with a filter. I'll do a service and all fluids every 5000. I got 107,526 on it right now, I keep things tight, and it's mostly stock, Still under Warranty till 2015. I extended twice, It paid for itself both times. Last time I did wheel and tires, It's not been all that worth it yet. I don't dog it less I have to. I will turn it up now and then, blow out the carbon. I'm shooting for 250,000 before the warranty runs out. I'll take 4 day weekends and go where ever. It's more comfortable for me to ride than drive, go figure!

I just put them bars on, the Kingspin were nice, but the leaning over was hell at about 500 miles!

I wore out the stock seat and have been running the Badlander, I'm getting used to it. It sits up a bit higher. I'm going to make some mods to the old seat, can't hurt none!. I want to add a higher back. more padding at the thighs and a glove box on that wasted space they got.

And so it begins damn that was a cold ride!

I have a 2007 Nightster that recently strarted knocking in the crankshaft bearing. I don't want to get rid of it but it seems no one offers a rebuild kit or an engine exchange program. Anybody got any suggestions?

Hey guys, I have a 2010 Nightster and recently have been having back pains while riding. I thought that raising the the handlebars with some mini apes would help because my back would sit straight. Turns out I was wrong! I don't want to create a pattern off blowing money. Any suggestions on how to make the nightster more comfortable since it already is a bad ass bike?
