Second day on the new ride and I could not be happier with this Alabama sunshine, sure beats that rain over in Europe any day. Man I love this Country !!

LOL...add another rider to the CRISPER! lol...dont forget the sunscreen...my nose is still baked!

Good call on the sun screen I'll picksome up at pubics err I mean publics today here in FL,made a run to the beach here in Navarre, had a good time dodging all the turtles in the road weather was great a little fog between Geneva and de Funiak springs maybe 5 miles worth, light traffic on I-10 ran that section at 80mph over to 87south then 20 min later the white sands of the Gulf Coast were there to wish me a Good morning

Oh that's right I'm dressed like a power ranger so no sunburn issues my friends think I'm nuts but I'm covered head to toe, draggin jeans leather chaps,mesh jacket safety vest and full face lid and leather gloves and 5 bottles of water lol

Rode down to Navarre FL yesterday morning. I left the house at 0600 for the 2.5 hr. ride to FL, but after a hour on the road and just south of Geneva and past the state line I started to feel a wobble in the rear tire. I got off the crown and into the road groove to see if it was just the road conditions; no luck Flat rear tire. I pulled off to the side of the road and had a look,Damn flat as can be.. I turned on the flashers and pulled out the cell phone Damn. No signal and the house I was in front off looked like they were opening the cage in the cellar for the motorcycle guy in the front yard,No way I was walking onto that porch. So take my chance with the cast from Deliverance or trash a tire and ride 7 mi. back to the last Citco gas station; seemed like a easy choice.

30 min later I pulled up to the Citco and parked the bike this time I had reception thank the lord, after calling the Frau and letting her know I was ok I called Progressive for road side assistance, 5 min later I has a tow truck inbound to my location. I then called Dothan HD and told them to expect me around 1000 and asked if they could fix the flat ASAP I was told two hours and I would be on my way,Sweet I was yelling in my head the day may be saved.

One hour later the tow truck arrived, during my wait I would get phone updates on the status of the tow truck they sent a automated message our at 20 min. saying the truck was on time and right at 0900 up he pulled; we load the bike and take off for Dothan.

Got to Dothan HD at 1000 and on the stand it goes, and like any guy roaming the store while I wait I get the idea for a set of slip on's. I ask they say yes and less than 2 hours I had new tire and a set of slip ons and was on my way down hwy 231 toward I-10 to continue the day with my knees in the breeze.

Big at-ta boy to Progressive, SE Alabama towing and the folks at HD of Dothan for saving the riding day. I love it when a Plan comes together!!

Damn....thats a helluva adventure there....great you got good service though and glad you are safe....
