As long as the installation is clean, you're fine. I wouldn't go adding a bunch more though.

You don't need one, unless you listen to all the geeks on here. I've never had one, and have no plans of getting one. Never had an issue either, except when the battery just wears out from age.

Sounds like a couple relays need to be installed instead on stacking on batt.

I think I'm just going to take it off. I hate all those dang plugs everywhere. The one for the heated gear serves a purpose.... Doubt I'll ever use the one for the battery tender

You can get an adapter so you can use the SAE pigtail from the tender with your heated gear here http://www.powerletproducts.com/prod...emale-cable/55

I'm assuming you have Gerbing gear. The Harley stuff is made by Gerbing. I think they both use coax.

I do wish I could have kept the old bike though. Could have done a lot to it.
