2006 flhxi radio problem anyone else had problems with radio and replaced with after market what kind and model ?

Seriously? I"ve been through 7 factory radio's.. i had an after market amp for 4 years before my first radio shit the bed. I've replaced my amp with another after marked amp and speakers. Currently having issues on my system. could be installation, could be just my shit ass luck. My 7 year extended warranty runs out in Feb so i have to bring it in to get checked soon.

Radios can go to Iron Cross Audio for repair. $250 and they get fixed. Mine failed forever ago, and I read that the HK fails due to vibration. Who knew HDs vibrated...

Anyhow Iron Cross repairs them and makes them vibration proof-ish. They can also add inputs and outputs and change the LCD Colours.

I changed to an Aquatic AV deck for bluetooth. Plug n play install. Works with controls.
