Hello all, I posted this question over in the Tech forum but haven’t received a lot of response. So maybe someone here can help.

I have a 2017 Ultra Limited to which I have added a sidecar. I’m having troubles with the engine stalling when making a prolonged, relatively slow, tight turn. I was ’warned’ this could happen due the Bank Angle Sensor getting ‘confused’ so this isn’t really unexpected but certainly annoying.

I’d like to confirm that the Bank Angle Sensor is now part of the ECM. The next question – is there a different ECM for a Trike. If so can I replace my ECM with the Trike unit making my bike think it is a Trike and therefore not be ‘confused’ on tight turns. It’s also been suggested that the current ECM can be flashed to make it a Trike ECM again making my bike think it is a Trike. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Dealer needs to turn off the TIP. simple task. A dealer that knows you should do it free. Post some pictures please.
