You know that you can put any wheel on there you want as long as it conforms to the lug pattern, offset, diameter, width, etc. as the one on there now. You should be able to choose from a gazillion different wheels out there as long as the demensions are the same as the TG stock wheel. I don't think the stock wheels are "TG specific". There are a couple of good web sites out there that explain just exactly how to measure any wheel to determine what you have.

I have been wondering the same, Jim. Will you please let me know what you find out? I inquired about having the wheels chromed, but way expensive. They would be a lot easier to keep clean!!

1550vt,

Yes I am aware of that but I was hoping that some manufacturer or supplier had already performed that exercise and said: “here is a selection of chrome rear wheels we sell for the Tri-Glide”!

Try Contacting Lehman Trikes, since they designed and assemble the rear end. I think their Optional 15 X 7 wheels wold likely fit.

I don't know what the leman wheels are, but the triglide has a 4 bolt patern which is different than most trikes., Iv'e heard its simmular to a ford 4 bolt, but can't verify that.

Here’s an up date on my quest to find a chrome rear wheel for my Tri-Glide. There may be gazillion different wheels to choose from but try finding a 15’ x 5.5’ with a 4 on 110 bolt pattern!

I went to Harley, two national tire chains and one local independent tire store, all to no avail. I looked on Lehman’s web site and their 5 spoke chrome “Attitude” wheel is decent looking but it is 15”x 7’”.

At this point my options are:

1.) Wait until the 2010’s come out and hope that Harley introduces a chrome wheel
2.) Have the stock wheels chromed ($550.00 each & 4-6 week turn around)

If anyone has any better alterative, I sure would appreciate hearing them!!

Thank you,

Jim

I surely thought the TG had a 15 x 7 wheel, but I don't think that will matter. Your 20570R15 tire should fit a 15 x 7 wheel, but I am no tire expert either. My Lehman has a 15 x 7 wheel on a 4 x 4.25 bolt pattern. This wheel is an early Mustang, Thunderbird and other Ford model wheel. They are pretty plentiful. There are various web sites out there that list the bolt pattern for every vehicle ever made, but then you have to find the proper setback, etc. and make sure it will go over your rotor and caliper.

Fun...ain't it!

Thanks VT, I'll give Lehman another look.
