When my dealer replaced my starter switch he also replaced the kill switch and respective wiring. He said that he didn't want to start chasing electrical gremlins.

They might have replaced ours, too, but I'm not sure. I think I saw a parts price of about $90 on some of the paperwork, and 1 hour of labor. Since we didn't pay anything, I didn't pay much attention.

That is a good idea...sometimes those electriacl gremlins can be very hard to catch!
