New to HDforums with sidecar

I do not know why I am so intimidated by mounting the sidecar as I have no problem tearing down a Harley motor doing the machine work and building it. I have a small engine machine shop in my basement.

Hello to everyone,here are some pictures of a 05' police road king and 02' ultra sidecar rig that I put together last summer.Was a scary ride at first,until I got the alignment angles correct.now its a joy to pilot.gets more attention than my other bikes.Ive been inexplicably fascinated with sidecars for about 10 years now.dreams can come true with hard work and a little help from above! I've enjoyed the forums for some time and decided to join. Happy 3-wheelin
Very nice rig. Have you flown the wheel yet? First time I did it I almost Sh-t myself. I almost saw daylight through the sidecar wheel taking a right turn on an off ramp. Took me a few seconds to remember to tap the front brake to bring it back down.

Haven't had that third wheel up yet,I almost ran into a concrete median once,when I took a downhill turn lane that sloped to the left.under braking with the downhill and left sloping pavement,I just brushed the wall with my handle bar!was close. Assessment of upcoming pavement and road conditions is even more critical on a sidecar rig. I dig the color of Your rig,very nice

When I get mine mounted the bike is red and the hack is pearl black which is a gray. No telling what the right lower fairing is going to be as I do not have one for a sidecar rig yet.

Thanks,46u its hard to tell in the pictures,but my sidecar is pearl white while the road king is birch white(standard police color) one day when I have some $ I'll get the bike tins painted to match the sidecar

Great picture. My oldest grandson loves to ride on back of mine. He is really looking forward to the sidecar. His two brothers twins are only 7 months so they are still to young to ride. Hoping to take my oldest grandson to north Georgia in the sidecar for a camping trip this summer.
5 more states and I will have them all on one motorcycle other then Hawaiian.

As you know,there are alot of great camp sites in north Georgia.Unicoi sp. north of Helen,lake Burton,Suches has the sidecar rally every year.a trip a little further to Maggie valley NC. would be great to visit the Wheels thru Time museum
