The service manual is a good investment.

Ordered the HD service manual for the 750 Street today. Should show up soon. The darn thing is fun to ride looking forwward to seeing what it can become. Strange feeling Rode my RGU after being on the Street.

Going from my Street to my LRS was a bit strange to me as well. The street is much easier to move around. Love my Lowrider though..

I said I would never do 3 again but here I am with 3 in the stable. We need to keep this thread on the Streets going hard to find good information on them.

Well it seems to there. For the Street there is no real clutch adjustment for the street.
There is cable adjustment for free play but no adjustment like we are use to. Service manual came today.

Give it time. Someone will come out with an aftermarket clutch. It is still a Harley after all!

Nothing really wrong with it. I just wondered about adjusting it and found nothing anywhere. Order the Service manual for it . I do wonder if some stiff springs might make some happier.

I just emailed this company http://www.dmv.com.tw/html/front/bin...ategory=371785 and they said they have levers to fit a Street, though I'm not sure which ones fit. They are in Germany and look like quality pieces. I emailed them through eBay so I'll try to get an item #.

How much freeplay does the manual call for? Picked up a streetrod Saturday and the clutch and the throttle were sloppy. Adjusted both to my liking but found that when I down shifted to 1st there would be the occasional grinding so I loosened the free play a little and it seemed to eliminate the grinding. Just wondering what the manual calls for.

Let know if you can read it or not. This is for a Street XG750 I can not speak for a Street Rod likely the same but I have no way of knowing for sure.
