Not quite my cup-o-tea, but those do look nice.

Neat setup on the bike period.

Interesting sort of dual sport look you have there. Was there much modification needed for the wire wheels?

The wheels were expensive. The tires were very reasonable. I had to get longer shocks (13 1/2").

I was shooting for a scrambler style. I do quite a bit of gravel road riding. It does really well.

Default Rougher ride on the streets?

Hey Old Jack,

Is that nobby tire more rough feeling on the streets?
I live on a dirt road and my S2 tires drift a bit. I don't ride anywhere else on dirt but I would like to know how those nobbies feel on the road.

Thanks for the cool pic!

The tires I am using are the Shinko 804 & 805.
You can tell that they are not highway tires but it was what I was wanting. I would suggest you look at the Shinko 704 &705 tires. Real good compromise between highway and knobby.

The Shinko's are ok, but don't last very long. If you want a "knobby" that works pretty good on the street, and lasts 10,000+ miles, you're going to have to look at Heidenau Scouts.

Nice! I really like this. Was going to go for a similar look with the 750, but did it instead with the Roadster. I mounted up the Shinko 705's. Good job. May still do a 750.
