Any cablefitment issues with these? Looking at a set of those or Biltwell Mustache. Looks great form the pics, how does it look from the front?

Default Street Rod XG750a changing Handle bar

Did you ever change the handle bars? I want to change mine and I am looking at z bars. My issue at present is how do I get the end mirrors off. Any advice would be helpful.

Cheers

What type of inserts did you use to mount the mirrors to the bars?
I'm putting the same bars on my street rod as well.

Bars have not been changed yet. Still waiting on clutch & brake cable extensions. I was trying to understand what I need to do to make that change. I went to the HD web site and obtained instruction sheets on the mirror end bars. Its simply a 4mm allen key to remove. Cheers

Looks like there's enough slack in everything to go up a little, if you don't get carried away with the height.

Main stumble for me were the locating holes that would have to be drilled (reasonably accurately) for mounting the controls. The two little clips for the cables could be replaced with tie wraps, but the locating pins for the controls will need their respective holes in place for proper and secure mounting.

You'd need to get the bar rotation set just right and make sure you're happy with it before you start drilling, or the controls aren't going to be in the right position.

It is, unfortunately, not just a simple "unbolt and swap" modification...
. Do you by chance have the stock bars to the 2017 or if they all are universal I’m looking for the stock ones
