Default Downsized to XG 750

Following a knee replacement and rotator cuff surgery, my Deluxe seemed to be getting heavier as Medicare kicked in. So I downsized to the Street 750 about a month ago. I almost threw it over the first time I raised it from the side stand. I don’t get the second looks like I did on the Deluxe, but this bike is a hoot to ride. It doesn’t have the fit and finish of the softail, but no chrome to polish either. I’m a minimalist by nature, so the simplicity of the bike appeals to me. It is a different experience than a typical cruiser, more like a sport standard.

I've never ridden a big Harley. I like the low weight and easy management of smaller bikes myself, and the center-stand is super-easy to use. I had some bikes that would kill your back if you tried to use the center-stand.

Enjoy the ride no madder what you ride. I have had some fun with the street 750. Now with the sidecar on it it even more fun. When my knees go a sidecar is going on the Touring bike .

That’s awesome. Definitely makes riding in the snow easier. Not a problem for us in coastal Florida, though, haha. I’m going to start looking for one.

There is a learning curve to riding one, Not that hard to get down. Mounting is a not impossible, but takes some work to get right. No raked tree was needed in this case.
