The problem is newer ultras have cams which you do not allow you to adjust alignment.

But isn't that the purpose of the cams to prevent the wheel from being out of line?

My cams are slightly off. Bike will bear left without a hand on the bar. My Heritage could be aligned to go straight down the road without any hands on the bar. I am thinking about grinding a little off the right can to set the alignment to straight.

I found this out as I was remounting the rear wheel and tire. I don't see is as a problem. I see it as a convenience.

Cab't see this being a proble with rigit mounts less the welds were off, then you're SOL.
With rubber mounts, engine alignment is doable.
