Default Yoshimura muffler installation on a 2018 Fat Bob

Here is an interesting little video that I happened across today. It features the installation of carbon fiber Yoshimura exhaust cans on a 2018 Fat Bob. Looks and sounds pretty good in my opinion. It's great to see what other people are doing to these bikes, and makes me wonder what other exhaust cans will fit.

The video is in Japanese, but you can right click on the page to translate the page text if you like.

Note: exhaust sound starts at around 17:30

That's neat! But it really does look more like a jap bike with those cans.

I totally agree... but it is cool to see. Definitely not harley-esq, but either is the bike.

Oh yeah - definitely cool. I love seeing what people do to their bikes, whether it is "true to the Harley mystique" or goes off in other directions completely.

Haha nice and quick to the point. I'm not that happy with the 2018 Fat Bob exhaust note in general. I have stage II and street cannons and they sound worse than these. The S&S slipons are a move in the right direction... Looking forward to what full exhaust systems shake out in the next year.

Love the step by step vid. Sounds good for the new bob honestly. Idle is tough on all the new bikes, but good when revved. At first I thought he had Gamorah sitting on his AC, but now I'm thinking that's Anguirus on his AC. He better hold on. Nice for a sushi hopper I bet.

Haha it is Anguirus! I was not paying close attention because I thought it was a rag at first. I agree, the step by step was awesome, esp for me, and the sound is not that bad (better than my cannons). Sushi hopper... lol ...Da bum tssss

Love the look, and you can't tell ch!t about the exhaust note from a YouTube video. And I took an extended test ride, and yes, the Fat Bob really IS a Harley!
