The Mascot is now in Bellingham
After our M&G and "Official" transfer to my custody at Bob's in Marysville, the Mascot had a fine fair weather ride up I5 to Bellingham.
So you folks from Camano Island, Skagit & Whatcom counties and BC who mentioned last fall that you wanted to attend a 'signing', now is the time to let me know that you're ready and eager.
An idea I have for this Saturday is as follows: We meet at Bellingham Harley http://harleyofbellingham.com/ on State St. at between 9 and 10. Then ride up together to Peace Arch Park for an "At the Border" picture and signing. We'll go somewhere for lunch after, to be decided by those who ride. If that's a bit much, let me know.
For those who can't make it on Saturday and/or those who will have less trouble explaining to their wives and mothers why they will be out riding on Sunday, a more casual signing will be held at Scooter Stuff on the Park Rd.

Hey Bill!
Just took a look at the Peace Arch Park situation. They do have a main parking area and you can walk to the park grounds from there. Heading North on I-5 you would take the last exit, #276 and at the end of the ramp go straight through the light and follow it about 3 short blocks up and you will run right into the Peace Arch Parking for the American Side.
Canadians can take 99 all the way to the border and they have parking for the park before ya get to the American Line. May be easier for them if they don't wish to cross the border!

I'll suggest that any Canadians who plan to go for a ride and meet for lunch get down into the U.S. before the big lineups start.....prior to 7:30 a.m.
Perhaps even show up at Bellingham HD if the weather co-operates and get in on the ride up to the border with our U.S. neighbours. (I'm assuming the ride and lunch will take place on the U.S. side)
