As the headline reads, The Mascot arrived safely in Billings this afternoon. I will be reading the keeper's manual/instructions shortly. Current plans are for it to live in my garage next to my bike until I leave for Effingham at the end of June.
I'll post to let you all know if I am going anywhere between now & then.

Keeper's manual?!?Instructions?!?I was just wondering...does it still have the can of spray **** with it??...end of June, eh??... seems like a lot of "down time" seein' that it IS riding season and all.

 

Hell ,just send it to NY in November and I`ll let it sit on my bike under the cover til end of April. At this rate 12 people get to see it a year.Sounds like there should be some new rules attached with this thing.How long did Roger have it?

 

OK all you eager beavers.......get your **** over to Montana and pick up the mascot flag. Seems everyone wants it, but no one wants to take the initiative to 'ride' and get it.

Roger put on a lot of miles from Bellingham to Billings.....didn't hearany volunteers to pony express it.

wldbill here, seems I sent you a pm about May 13th looking for a little assist in moving the Mascot. Even would have liked a name of someone in your area who might be able to help move the critter. I just don't seem to find that I ever got a constructive reply. Could be that you're now ready to ride to Billings and get the Mascot to CO?

 

The way I understand it if a rider comes in possession of the Mascot itbecomes THIER responsibility to keep it moving...NOT to have it "living in thier garage"...last summer I carried it for 600 miles and had it in my possession for a little over a week on the Mascot's "red eye" trip to the west coast rally...I found a member to hand off to on my own...please don't tell me there's only one HDF member in Montana...I'll will say this for the record...if it comes within 500 miles ofDenver I'll be more than glad to carry it (and hand it off) again.

 

Sorry Wld...I got your PM...but I'm not on the site as much as I used to be so I'm not so familiar with the locations of some of the newer members...the closest member I could think of at the time was FiremanKrug...he's in SLC Utah if I remember right...if I could getthe time off work I'd ride to Billings for it...sure...but I'll say again I believe it's on the rider in possession of the mascotto shoulder the responsibility of keeping it moving...wouldn't you agree??
