I met up with Smitty901 and his lovely wife at High Noon yesterday at Rocky Top HD in Pigeon Forge. Enjoy your stay in Pigeon Forge and have a safe ride back home to WI.
The mascot is now with me again in Knoxville, TN. I will be looking to keep it moving in the coming weeks.
Food for thought - I can meet someone west of here around Nashville, northeast of here around Bristol TN/VA, east of here around Asheville or Maggie Valley (Wheels Through Time museum???), or south of here towards Chattanooga or even Atlanta. I'd prefer not to send it due north again towards Ohio because that is where it just came from. If any of these location works for someone that wants to be involved in a hand-off, let's talk.

I have had a very busy summer with travel. I'm embarrassed to admit that the mascot meet-up ride was the last time that I was on the bike. Things should calm down by the end of August and I can work on getting the mascot moving again. In the meantime, if anyone is coming through East TN, please let me know.

It was awesome meeting Bob and his wife. We talked in the parking lot for over an hour after I handed the flag off. Great folks of the truly "real" and increasingly rare variety. I hope you have a great time in Gatlinburg. Next time I find myself in your neck of the woods I hope we can get together again. Stay safe!
When I replaced the bag and book I let the old ones with it. Your story must be remembered. And it explains the runs in markers.

Yes, that would have been an easy one. My brother lives near Tellico Plains and I am down that way pretty often. Hindsight is 20:20, but a missed opportunity.

My schedule calms down after Labor Day. I will work on getting it moving after that. Will be cooler riding then too.

Trike kit will be done by Monday the 19th. Or trip to KY dam is set for Sept 17th.

Yes, I do still have it. Unfortunately, I am guilty as charged. No good excuses. It has just been a vey busy Spring and I am embarrassed to say that I haven't even started my bike since March when it was serviced. I am able ride; it just may be a challenge on timing. However, if you know that you will be within 2-3 hours of Knoxville, with some planning I should be able to meet you... especially on a weekend.

What ever it takes get it rolling. I will be in Asheville area end of July first of August for RG Shark Week will help if needed.
I maybe able to leave early reroute and pick it up in Knoxville. And pass it on .
