Default New Thundermax MAPS dated 5-1-07

I was just checking latest maps available for my bike. There are several new maps for different bikes (mine included) that have a notation saying, "Reinstatement of Map #370" or whatever map number. It lookes like the AFR's are the same as of the previous map. Not sure what has changed. They usually say update to the latest map. My bike runs great and I plan to go on a ride this weekend so I won't mess with it atleast until next week if at all. Anybody know what the update is for? I'm impressed with how often they try to improve these maps...

Hey Mr5150,
Where and how do you locate/observe the map's? and another question, on the disc that they sent me with my unit, Does it contain a user manual? if so, I sure as heck can't locate it. Thx in advance, Rich

The notes say that this is a reinstatement of map #369. Of course, this map is no longer available for download. Map #383 dated 04/07/2007 is the most recent map for the listed configuration. So if #383 is the latest, why are they reinstating map #369? They told me to always download any updates that are posted for the exact configuration of a previous map. This latest update contradicts that advice. The notes for #369 say that they "Richened AFR targets from 14.4:1 to 13.8:1 from the 1024-2560 rpm ranges. Changes made from 0.0 to 29.6 quadrants on the X axis."

Yeah, it's a bit confusing...
Puttnutt..

open the program, click on EFI maps, then EFI map listings/definitions, then click the button "update definition " at the bottom of the window that just opened. Click on the base map listing button. Right click on the 96" engine size (or whatevere size it is..) to filter and see tomaps. You have to be hooked up to internet download maps obviously. Good luck
