Default PV Map

Hi Guys, just ordered my PV from FM today. Should be hear next week. In the meantime, I've downloaded the software and manuals and would like to play with the software. Is there someplace or someone that can send me a generic map so I can play with it in the Windows software?

Fm will send you a map. The one for the DYNA jammerx sent you has an excellent timing map on it. The same timing map will work on pretty much any setup. Unless they have changed the timing map on the FM canned map this one will work better.

Thanks for the note. I've been playing around with the map he sent and I look forward to comparing the timing model with the one from FM.

Anyone else out there have a customized map for:
2013 FLHTCU with Ness a/c and Jackpot 2-1-2 and Jackpot 4" slip ons?

Two questions I have thus far when looking around.

First, I do a considerable amount of 60+ highway cruising for long distances. Is there a way to tune for a fuel economy mode while say 60+ and in 6th gear? Is it even worth it for the amount of fuel you may save?

Second, it looks like I can adjust the speedo setting. Here's what I have found with mine using a couple different GPS

Bike- GPS
20 - 20
30 - 29.5
40 - 39 to 39.5
50 - 48.5
60 - 57.5
70 - 66.5
80 - 76
90 - 85.5

Is it possible to adjust the setting for different speed points? I couldn't find it and don't think so but figured I'd ask. If it's just the one setting, where can I read up on the formula for the correct number to use?

in the winpv program, if you look under the speedometer calibration section, it tells you that the value is 'pulses per 1/25th km'. so i guess using that you could figure it out mathematically, but for me, i think it would be easier to go with trial and error.

The odometer changes with the Speedometer Calibration, so if the speedo reading is reduced by 4% so is the odometer, or at least that's the case on my bike. Originally, my odometer was 2% fast and changing the Speedometer Calibration made the odometer 2% slow, but that doesn't concern me as much as an errant speedometer.

Here is map I am currently running. It is tuned to optimize fuel economy at all rpms and % load KPA. It can probably be made better, but pretty good right now. A little autotuning may help it. Note the speedo is already adjusted on this map to be accurate around 60 mph. The stock setting is 2206 and the new is 2262. the formula I used was to divide the amount off like 2mph by the speedo 60 mph reading then multiply this .03333 by the setting in PV 2206 and add this 79 number back to the setting in PV. It will get you close depending on your particular setup. Mine was off about 1.5 is the reason for the 2262. 2 mph would be 2279 I think.

Does the PV allow custom set AFRs at different RPMs with the autotune?
