One Dead Cylinder, No Spark
#11
For another note on this, I have been out riding a few more times since all this. The weather has turned quite warm around here in central California (100+). I have always had a problem with it popping a lot on decel in hot weather. That is also much better now that I have new plugs and a new coil. I'm not sure what did it, but it is running sooooo much better.
I'd like to say thanks to everyone for their input on this case. I love forums, so helpful.

Here's the electrical circuit diagram for the road king twin cam system which is self-explanatory. You can check the coils with an multimeter/ohmmeter.
99 FLHR single fire per cylinder, dual secondary coil ignition system. Each 12 volt coil charges the 30,000 volt coil on the spark plug side.
